A Christmas Carol: Read & Sing Along

At this Christmas Carol the audience is the star, and that is not a figure of speech.

Ridgefield Theater Barn brings back its read and sing along version of the Dickens classic, presented in the round. You can sign up in advance to play one of the roles yourself, and everyone else joins in from their seats, singing festive tunes and pushing the action along with props and sound effects. It is built so that nobody sits on their hands. The show is family friendly, all ages are welcome, and it plays straight through without an intermission.

When it plays. Thursday December 3 at 8pm, Friday December 4 at 8pm, Saturday December 5 at 8pm, and Sunday December 6 at both 2pm and 5pm.

Make a night of it. Seating is cabaret style at candlelit tables, so bring your own food and drink and fill a table with friends. Snacks and drinks are also on sale in the lobby beforehand. Tables 1 to 5 sit on the stage itself, which is either the best seat in the house or the most exposed, depending on your temperament. Doors open an hour before curtain.

Good to know. All seats are $30 and tickets are on sale now through the Barn's page. All sales are final.
