The worst time to learn about senior care options is the week you suddenly need them.
This is the closing session of the Aging Well Series: Four Keys to Living Stronger, Healthier, and More Confidently, presented jointly by Staying Put, New Canaan Library and the Lapham Community Center. The series brings local health experts together to give practical guidance on independence and long term wellness.
Paul and Susan Doyle of Oasis Senior Advisors walk through the range of senior living and care options available as circumstances change, and how to think ahead so that you understand the choices and can make an informed decision before a change in circumstances demands an immediate one.
The Doyles own Oasis Senior Advisors and came to the work through their own family's experience of elder care responsibilities. They are specialists in senior care options and run a free service helping families find resources and navigate the many senior living choices available.
Good to know. Each session in the series takes its own registration. Registration closes at 11:00am, as this session begins.
Where to go. The Craig B. Tate Conference Room at New Canaan Library. Other sessions in this series run at the Lapham Community Center instead, so check the location for each one.
Check before you go. New Canaan Library does not publish a price for this program. Confirm the cost and registration details on the venue's event page before you plan around it.
