All Ages Discovery Tour

Ever stood in front of a contemporary artwork and had no idea what to make of it? Good. That is exactly the starting point.

A Museum Educator leads a free, interactive and deliberately judgment-free tour of The Aldrich's current exhibitions. It is built for anyone who has walked into a museum and not known where to begin, and for anyone who has looked at a piece and quietly wished somebody would explain what it meant. There are no wrong observations here. All ages are welcome, so bring whoever you are with.

It's free. The tour costs nothing and runs 1 to 2 pm. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Third Saturday. Museum admission is free for everyone on the third Saturday of the month, so you can go straight from the tour into the galleries at no cost.

Where to go. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, 258 Main Street, Ridgefield.
