Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Support Group

This one is for the people doing the caring.

Family members, caregivers and friends meet for an informative, supportive session on navigating the changes that come with memory loss and cognitive decline. Each meeting makes room to discuss coping techniques and strategies, to share stories and experiences, to say what you are feeling and what you need, and to learn what community resources exist.

The group is facilitated by Chris DiElsi, a Licensed Master Social Worker and an Alzheimer's Navigator at Waveny LifeCare Network, so there is someone in the room whose job is to answer the practical questions.
