Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Support Group

The person everybody asks after is the one with the diagnosis. This hour is for the people looking after them.

A free monthly caregiver peer support group at New Canaan Library for family members, friends and caregivers navigating memory loss and cognitive decline. Each session makes room to talk through coping techniques and strategies, share where you are in your own version of the journey, say what you actually need, and learn what community resources exist. It is run as a safe space to ask questions rather than a lecture.
