SOLD OUT: An Evening With Andrew McMahon and His Piano

Three band names, one piano, twenty-five years. Andrew McMahon has reinvented himself more times than most artists get the chance to, and has come out the other side stronger each time. Born and raised on the East Coast before moving to Southern California as a teenager, he was stunning classmates and teachers with his ability to connect through a song long before anyone was paying for tickets.

By 1998 he had co-founded the pop-punk outfit Something Corporate while still in high school, singing, playing piano, and writing, and led them to major chart success in the early 2000s with Leaving Through the Window and North. In 2005 he resurfaced with the deeply personal solo project Jack's Mannequin, releasing three acclaimed albums including the gold-certified Everything In Transit and the Billboard Top 10 records The Glass Passenger and People and Things. In 2014 came his debut under his own name as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, with the breakout top 5 alternative single "Cecilia and the Satellite," followed by Zombies on Broadway and its top 5 single "Fire Escape," then Upside Down Flowers and Tilt At The Wind No More.

Through all of it, the constants have been his family and the one instrument he always comes back to. Stripped to just him and the piano, that is the whole point of this show. Ivory Layne opens. This performance is sold out.
