Art & Coloring: A Space for Every Language
Community

Art and coloring do not need words, which is the whole idea behind this hour in the lower level meeting room.
The library sets out bilingual materials and open ended projects, and people sit down beside each other and make something. There is no lesson and nobody at the front of the room. For anyone who feels self-conscious about their English, it is a way into the room that does not start with having to talk, and the talking tends to happen anyway once there is something on the table between you.
It is free, but book. There is no charge and a place has to be reserved. You can do that by logging in with your library card, by phone, or at the desk.
Questions. Adriana Navea is the person to ask, at anavea@danburylibrary.org.
Where to go. Danbury Public Library is at 170 Main Street, in the middle of downtown. The program is in the lower level meeting room.
