Avenue Q (Saturday Matinees)

It looks like Sesame Street. It is very much not Sesame Street.

Avenue Q follows Princeton, fresh out of college and priced all the way out to the far end of the alphabet, as he and his new neighbors fail to find jobs, dates or any discernible purpose in life. Part flesh and part felt, it won three Tony Awards by being considerably funnier and considerably ruder than its puppets let on, and the songs stay with you rather longer than you might want them to.

Good to know. Rated R and recommended for ages 16 and up. The daytime start does not soften the content in the slightest. Saturday matinees begin from the second weekend of the run.

Where to go. A.C.T. of CT at 36 Old Quarry Road.
