Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Added Sunday Evening Performance)

Sundays at A.C.T. usually end with the two o'clock matinee. This one does not.

The theatre has added a single Sunday evening performance of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on 15 November at 7pm, outside the regular schedule.

The show follows Carole King from Brooklyn teenager writing hits for other people to the artist who stepped out front and made Tapestry. The book is by the late Douglas McGrath, with music and lyrics by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and the songs include You've Got a Friend, One Fine Day, So Far Away, Up on the Roof, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and Natural Woman.

Good to know. Rated PG, recommended for ages 8 and up. This is an added performance, so it sits outside the usual Wednesday to Sunday pattern.
