Block Printmaking Workshop with Artist & Teacher Evelyn Harvey
Workshop & Classes

Design it, carve it, print it, and go home with cards you made.
Evelyn Harvey, whose exhibition Between Branches is on the library's walls this autumn, teaches relief printmaking from the beginning. You sketch and plan a design, carve it into a rubber stamp, and print it onto cards, which means you leave with a finished set rather than a half-done exercise. She gives one-to-one feedback as the session goes.
Good to know. Free, two and a half hours on a Friday afternoon in the Schaffner Room.
The timing is deliberate. Mid November is exactly when making your own seasonal cards stops being a nice idea and becomes achievable.
Please check with the organizer if the event date, time or offer has changed.** LTO
