Housatonic Habitat for Humanity throws its annual fundraiser at Le Chateau and asks everyone to turn up in their finest denim, which sets the tone for an evening that is celebratory rather than solemn. During the night you will hear from Carolyn and Rashad, one of the newest Habitat families, on what a safe and stable home will mean for their autistic daughter and for the rest of their family. It is a useful reminder that the fundraising total is a stand-in for actual households.
