Book Talk: The Wager

A wrecked ship, a beach at the end of the world, and two groups of survivors who make it home telling completely incompatible stories.

Book Talk, the Danbury Library’s monthly discussion group for adult readers led by FRIENDS volunteer Catherine Riordan, takes on David Grann’s The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder. There is no meeting in December; the group returns in January with Cervantes.

Good to know. Free, and registration is required. The group is hybrid — a Zoom link comes with your registration if you cannot make it in person.

Where to go. The Lower Level Meeting Room, Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street.
