Books and Brunch

Come for the coffee, leave with a reading list.

This is the library's seasonal chat about books. Members of staff open by sharing selected new fiction and nonfiction titles, and then the room goes round and everyone briefly says what they are reading at the moment. Nobody has to take notes, because every participant gets an email afterward listing all the books that came up. It is the most efficient way in town to find out what everyone else has discovered.

Books and Brunch meets quarterly, once every three months, on the second Monday.

There is food. Regular and decaf coffee, tea and a light breakfast snack are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat during the chat.

Good to know. Registration is required and closes at 11:30am, as the session opens.
