Books & Bites Food Truck Event

Lunch outside, a stack of books inside, and no reason to choose between them.

The Danbury Library turns its plaza over to local food trucks on Wednesdays through September. Grab lunch, eat it in the sun, then wander in to sign up for a library card, browse the shelves, or leave with a pile of books and movies. The lineup rotates: Nomad Bites and Dish It Right Here on September 16, then Greek Style Grill and Nomad Bites on both September 23 and 30.

Good to know. The library programming is free and no registration is needed. Food from the trucks is priced by the vendors — bring a card or a few dollars.

Where to go. The Library Plaza at 170 Main Street, right in downtown Danbury.
