Plays are meant to be spoken, which is what makes this book group different from every other one.

Curtain Callers reads a new play each month, then meets to discuss it and read key scenes aloud together — equally at home with bookworms and people who miss being in the school production. September's play is Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth. The group runs in collaboration with the Brookfield Theatre and meets at the theatre rather than the library.
