Line Dancing Night at the Granite is exactly what it sounds like and none the worse for it. Great music, a friendly room and dancing and lessons running throughout the night, pitched at beginners and improvers rather than people who already know every step. This one lands on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is either the best or the worst possible timing depending on how the Thursday went.

Pick your songs. You can submit up to two dance requests in advance when you buy your ticket.

Good to know. Tickets are $20 and BYOB is welcome. Online sales close at 3pm on the day; if it has not sold out you can pay at the door by Venmo.

Where to go. The Granite sits on North Main Street in the Georgetown corner of Redding, a short run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
