Deer Tick

Nine albums in, and they have gone looking in their own back yard.

Deer Tick's ninth studio album, Coin-O-Matic, turns on a corner of the American story that does not get told much: the hidden histories of Rhode Island, where the band are from, and the working-class families whose everyday dramas ran up against it.

They have spent close to twenty years moving between ragged rock and country without ever fully settling, which is a large part of the appeal live. DUG opens.
