Dune: Part Three at the Prospector Theater

Villeneuve finishes it.

Dune: Part Three closes out Denis Villeneuve's trilogy, adapted from Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah by Villeneuve and Brian K. Vaughan. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa and Anya Taylor-Joy are all back for the ending. Tickets for opening weekend are already on sale here, which is worth knowing, because the big December releases are the ones that actually sell out at the Prospector.

Showtimes. Opens Thursday, December 17 at 2:30 and 7:30pm. Friday through Sunday at 12:30, 4 and 7:30pm. More dates are usually added each week. Times can change, so check the showtimes page before you go.

Good to know. The theater has not posted a rating or a runtime for this one yet, so check before you build the evening around it. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for kids 11 and under. The theater suggests arriving 30 minutes early to grab concessions and good seats.

Every ticket does some good. The Prospector is a nonprofit theater built to employ adults with disabilities, who the theater calls Prospects. They greet you and seat you before every show. Closed caption devices and descriptive audio headsets are available at every first-run show.

Make a night of it. The Heads Up Café inside the theater pours coffee, beer and wine, and the ceiling is covered in pennies hand-placed heads up by the Prospects. Downtown Ridgefield's Main Street restaurants are a short walk away.
