Dustin Lowman at Nod Hill Brewery
Live Music

He calls them antisensical songs: lyric-driven tunes that take apart the nonsense of being alive.
Dustin Lowman is a self-taught singer, guitarist, harmonica player and lyricist who builds his style on the troubadours, which for him means Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Aimee Mann, Adrianne Lenker and Cass McCombs. He is based in Brooklyn and plays there regularly, and has also turned up at the Poetry Foundation in Chicago, The Bitter End in Manhattan and the Levitt Pavilion in Westport. Livingston Taylor's verdict: Lowman is on the path of a terrific musical career, and his musical voice is waiting to be heard by anyone hungry for the next real thing.
Good to know. The show is free and it is in the Backspace. No tickets, no reservations, no RSVP, and seating is first come, first served.
Where to go. Nod Hill Brewery sits on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, an easy run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
