You are almost certainly using AI already without noticing. This session is an accessible, demonstration-led introduction to the practical tools that can take some friction out of an ordinary day, at home, at work, and on the go, and it is deliberately pitched at adults of every experience level.

The ground it covers is properly practical rather than theoretical: Windows dictation, creating and summarising documents in Microsoft Word, using Amazon image search to identify a product, and getting more out of Google Search and its AI-powered features. It also covers the newer assistants, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, along with smartphone features people tend to own but never use, including voice dictation, predictive text, song identification, and image search. Live demonstrations throughout, and examples you can start using the same afternoon.
