Faded is the Crimson, An Acoustic Tribute to the Grateful Dead, at Nod Hill Brewery
Concert

Reckoning, played the way those 1980 acoustic shows actually felt.
This is a night built around the Grateful Dead's beloved 1981 live acoustic double album Reckoning, performed by Faded Is The Crimson, an all star band led by guitarist JD Seem of the Allman Brothers tribute Faster Things. The lineup includes Doug Marino of Laughin' Bones and Alligator on keys and vocals, Barry Blumenfeld of CT Grateful Dead Allstars and Bone Dry on guitar and vocals, Pat Lavery of Mystic Bowie and the Christopher Robin Band on bass and vocals, and Hans Broecking of Fuzz and Friends and Shell Shockt on drums and vocals.
Stripped down arrangements, sweet harmonies and that unmistakable Dead warmth.
Good to know. This is a ticketed show in the Backspace. Doors open half an hour before the music starts.
Where to go. Nod Hill Brewery sits on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, an easy run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
