Fall in Love with Ridgefield

The Saturday downtown stops being a place you park and becomes a place you stay.

Four hours of Main Street given over to the town: live music from Bob Stump's Tree-Oh playing blues, bluegrass and Americana, face painting, the scarecrow contest on display, fall photo backdrops, and shopping and eating right through downtown. The final Ridgefield Farmers Market of the season runs the same morning, and the library hosts a children's Halloween costume swap from one until three, which needs registering for.

Make a day of it. Between the market, the shops and the restaurants, this is the one Saturday where downtown does the planning for you.

Good to know. Ten until two, throughout downtown Ridgefield. Organizations wanting a table should check the event page, as space goes quickly.
