Files & Folders Made Simple
Workshop & Classes

If you have ever saved a document and then never found it again, this is the class that ends that.
Danbury Library pitches this one at the absolute basics of keeping a computer in order: making folders, saving a document somewhere you will find it, tracking down the downloads folder, renaming files so they mean something later, and generally keeping the whole thing tidy enough to navigate. It is the sort of knowledge most people are assumed to have picked up somewhere and quite often never were taught, and the library runs it at a deliberately unhurried pace.
Good to know. Free, and registration is required.
Who to ask. Alex runs it, at alima@danburylibrary.org, or call 203-797-4505.
