Jana Milbocker joins Wilton Library on Zoom to walk through her new book, published in June, on the historic gardens made for the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers, the du Ponts and the rest of the industrial barons. Formal parterres, artfully engineered landscapes, and the stories of the people who commissioned them. Milbocker runs Enchanted Gardens and has spent fifteen years as a landscape designer after twenty five as an art director, which is roughly the right combination for a book that is equal parts horticulture and design history.
