Getting Contemporary Art: Building a Collection

You love contemporary art and have no idea how anyone starts owning any of it. That is the question this series exists to answer.

Building a Collection is the newest run of The Aldrich's long-running Getting Contemporary Art series, and it puts seasoned people in the field in front of an audience to talk about how works are actually acquired. Executive Director Cybele Maylone moderates both sessions, and each one includes a reception.

Two Wednesdays. January 20 and January 27, 5:30pm to 7pm. You can come to a single session or do the full two-session program.

Good to know. Free for members; general admission is $20 per session. Registration required.
