Google Maps & Apple Maps for Beginners
Workshop & Classes

If getting directions on your phone still feels like guesswork, this is the hour that sorts it out.
Danbury Library runs this as a beginner's workshop on both of the big mapping apps, taken side by side rather than one at a time. It covers searching for an address or a nearby business, getting directions, looking at the alternative routes the app offers, and the extras people tend not to find on their own, Street View among them. The library is explicit that the pace is relaxed and nobody is expected to keep up with anything, which is the point of running it as a class rather than handing out a leaflet.
Good to know. Free, and registration is required. Sign-up closes the day before, on 8 December. The class is in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
Who to ask. Alex takes the questions, at alima@danburylibrary.org, or call the library on 203-797-4505.
