GuitarLab Jam

Guitar Lab has been a monthly gathering of guitar people looking at gear and arguing about records. Now it plugs in.

GuitarLab Jam is the new format at the Danbury Library: players of every level in one room, sharing music, picking things up from each other and actually playing together. Shaman Vincent Richard — lifelong guitarist, professional musician and audio engineer — leads it, and each session still takes on a different corner of the guitar world: electric, acoustic and vintage instruments up close, amps and effects to experiment with, iconic clips to dissect, and the ongoing conversation about where the instrument is heading.

Good to know. Free, ages 16 and up, and no registration required. Grab your guitar, or just bring your love of music.

Where to go. The Farioly Program Room, Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street.
