It is never too early for spooky season, and somebody else already bought the costume.

The C.H. Booth Library has a second floor full of gently used Halloween costumes waiting to be picked up, in sizes for every age, all of them clean. Accessories come too: wigs, hats, masks, treat bags. The premise is the obvious one, which is that a costume worn once a year does not need to be bought new, and the library would rather it went round again than into a bin.
