Harpist Lisa Tannebaum in Concert
Arts & Culture

An afternoon of classical harp that ranges across genres, including Granados's Spanish Dances, originally written for piano and recently transcribed for harp by Lisa Tannebaum herself.
Tannebaum has played solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire at major venues and festivals across Europe and the United States, and The New York Times has praised her expressive musicality and creativity. Her Carnegie Hall performance marked the release of her album My Harp, My Heart. The New York Concert Review noted her grace and mastery of dynamic variation; Harp Column Magazine described her sound as full of color and brilliance but never harsh, taking charge at just the right moments.
She collaborates regularly with the composer Andrew Seligson, teaches at the Cap Ferret Music Festival each summer, and is president of Music In The Woods, a non-profit providing educational opportunities for students and musical enrichment for the community.
