Holiday Luncheons at Keeler Tavern

For decades these luncheons were the thing people in Ridgefield waited for in December. Then they stopped.

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center is bringing them back for its sixtieth anniversary. The luncheons were once much-anticipated seasonal events where clubs, friends and colleagues gathered in the festively decorated Garden House for good food and better company, and that is exactly the shape of the revival.

Three days, one seating a day. 10 to 12 December, noon to 2:00pm, in the Garden House.

On the table. Catered by R House, each luncheon features a seasonal soup and sandwich, a nod to the earliest Shopper's Luncheons the museum ran in the 1970s and 80s.

Tickets. $45. The museum says tickets go on sale soon, so check the calendar before you plan around it.
