Holiday Stroll Open House

Come in through the front door of the tavern, which is not how visitors usually get in.

Keeler Tavern joins Ridgefield's Holiday Stroll with special evening hours at the museum. Interpreters are stationed throughout the house to answer questions and fill in the history of the site's former residents and its collections, so it is a walk-through with people to talk to rather than a silent tour.

It is family friendly, with a scavenger hunt to keep kids occupied while the adults linger.

Stay for the shopping. The Holiday Boutique in the carriage barn runs extended hours the same day, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., so the open house and the gift list can be handled in one trip.

Good to know. 5 to 7 p.m. at the museum. Free and open to the public, with no registration needed.
