Houseplant, with Kiran and Previn Edwards

Two sets, and neither of them will ever happen quite that way again.

Houseplant come out of Louisville, Kentucky with a sound that sits between indie rock songwriting and open-ended improvisation: lush psychedelic textures, groove-driven rhythms, and arrangements that leave room for the band to wander off and find its way back. What keeps it from being a jam for its own sake is that the songs hold up on their own, with lyrics worth following. The lineup is Tommy Arnspiger on bass, Tavis Conley on vocals and mandolin, Sam Richardson on keys and vocals, Chris Rodahaffer on guitar and vocals, and Ray Rizzo on drums and vocals.

Opening are Kiran and Previn Edwards, brothers who have been playing together for more than fifteen years and who front Residual Groove, a band with two full length albums behind it and a real name in the New England jam scene since 2021. For this night the two of them play a duo acoustic set of their own songs.
