Introduction to Google Docs and Drive

A free word processor that keeps your documents reachable from any machine you can log in from. That is the pitch for Google Docs, and this hour is the practical version of it.

Reference Librarian James covers importing, creating, editing and updating documents, working across fonts and file formats, and how Google Drive holds it all together. Bring your laptop if you want to follow along. If you do, set up a Google account beforehand and bring your login details, because the class will not stop to make one for you.
