Introduction to Tower Gardening

No soil, no rows, no bending over. Just a column of plants and water doing the work.

The Danbury Library’s MakerLab has a Tower Garden, and this workshop opens it up. You will get into aeroponics — mineral-enhanced water pumped to the top of the tower and showered down over the roots — and how that changes what you can grow, where you can grow it, and how fast. Come curious; the whole point is to leave with ideas for your own space.

Good to know. Free, ages 13 and up. Space is limited and registration is required.

Where to go. The MakerLab inside the Danbury Library, 170 Main Street.
