Italian Film with English Subtitles: Bread and Tulips

A bored housewife gets left behind by her tour bus and quietly decides not to go home.

Pane e Tulipani, released in English as Bread and Tulips, is a 2000 Italian romantic comedy drama directed by Silvio Soldini. Rosalba is accidentally abandoned at a stop partway through a coach tour. Instead of waiting to be collected she takes herself off to Venice, where she assembles an unplanned and entirely independent life: a place to stay, a job, and a romance with an Icelandic waiter named Fernando.

The film screens in Italian with English subtitles and runs one hour and fifty four minutes.
