Live Virtual Program: The Constitution Speaks

Benjamin Franklin’s line about a republic came with a condition attached, and the condition is the part people skip.

Jeff Urbin, Educational Specialist at the FDR Presidential Library and Museum, leads this online session for the Danbury Library on what it takes to keep a democracy healthy — the rules, rights and responsibilities that hold the founding ideals up, and what happens to each of them under strain.

Good to know. Free, held on Zoom, and registration is required. The joining link is emailed to you once you register.

Hosted by the Danbury Public Library, which notes that participation in its virtual programs is at your own discretion.
