Lotions, Potions, Elixirs and Bath Salts

Mix, blend and walk out with four things you made yourself.

This hands-on workshop uses essential oils to make a scented hand lotion, a sugar scrub, an elixir oil and bath salts, all customised to what you actually like. Along the way it covers why and how to use essential oils, and which of the claims made for them hold up and which do not. You leave with handouts of the recipes so you can keep making them at home.

It runs as part of the library's Sustainable Living Initiative, which is about creative upcycling as something you carry on doing rather than a one-off craft session.
