Mah Jongg

The Tuesday table is where you go if you do not know how to play yet.

This is the library's instructional Mah Jongg session, and it is the counterpart to Monday's free play. Three hours in the Schaffner Room, with teaching built in every week and groups split by experience: complete beginners who have never played, beginners who have had a few goes and still need a hand, and everyone further along who is there for the game. The library's own framing is camaraderie first, strategy second.

Never played? This is the session to turn up to. The complete beginners track exists precisely so that nobody has to pretend they know what they are doing.

Good to know. Free, and the autumn run goes through to the end of December.

Parking. The library has outgrown its parking at peak times, so allow a few extra minutes.
