SOLD OUT: Marc Roberge of O.A.R.

Thirty years of arena-sized songs, played small.

Marc Roberge has fronted O.A.R. since 1996, through multi-platinum records and sold-out nights at some of the biggest rooms in the world. His solo shows go the other way entirely: no band, a stripped-back stage, reimagined O.A.R. favorites alongside a few covers, and a lot of talking to the audience between them.

He has described the format as putting the spotlight back on the storytelling that was always underneath the songwriting, drawing on the tradition of classic country and folk troubadours. If you have only heard the band version, this is the one where you hear the words.

When. Thursday 17 December, 8pm.

Tickets. Ticketed through the Playhouse; the box office is on 203-438-5795 and prices are not published on the event page.

Where to go. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, behind the town hall.
