Memoir Writers Group

Two to five minutes is long enough to say something true and short enough that nobody is bracing themselves.

New Canaan Library's Memoir Writers Group meets monthly. Each participant shares a short memoir piece, and the group responds with discussion, reactions and what landed. It is explicitly not a workshop: nobody critiques anybody's writing, and the focus is on listening and sharing rather than fixing. New members are welcome.
