Memory Cafe: Journey to Blue Bayou

Music reaches people when a great deal else has stopped reaching them. That is rather the point of the afternoon.

A Memory Café at New Canaan Library is a warm, unhurried space made for people living with dementia and their care partners — somewhere to spend time with others who understand the road, over coffee, conversation and a lot of singing along. This one is a tribute to Roy Orbison, the Caruso of Rock, performed by Rachel Murdy and Matthew Milligan, with Bibi the Chihuahua in attendance.
