Twice a month, once on Zoom and once around a table, with the same people either way.

The Mark Twain Library's writers' group alternates its format. The second Monday of the month meets virtually from 7pm to 8:30pm; the fourth Monday meets in person at the library from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. Alongside reading books on craft, the group exists to give people a supportive room in which to share their writing, and to act as a source of accountability and feedback for whatever project has currently stalled. Facilitation is shared among the members rather than handed to a leader. Before attending, it is recommended that you get hold of your own copy of Write Your Novel From The Middle by James Scott Bell.

Good to know. Free, and registration is required. Registered participants receive the Zoom link for the virtual weeks.
