Old Crow Medicine Show: Holiday Hootenanny

They wrote "Wagon Wheel." Well, half of it. Frontman Ketch Secor finished the song with Bob Dylan, and it became the kind of hit that follows a band forever. Old Crow Medicine Show has spent more than twenty-five years carrying American roots music forward, helping spark a full revival of string-band music while building a live show that runs on pure adrenaline, connecting old-time, folk, bluegrass, country, and rock and roll with a distinctly modern spirit. Members of the Grand Ole Opry since 2013 and two-time Grammy winners, they went from busking on street corners to some of the world's most celebrated stages without losing the busking energy.

This tour arrives in the middle of another banner year. Their critically acclaimed 2026 album Union Made spent multiple weeks at number one on the Americana Albums chart, and "Last American Waltz," featuring Molly Tuttle, did the same on the Americana Singles chart. It is their most collaborative record yet, with contributions from Molly Tuttle, Del and Ronnie McCoury, Evan Felker, Ray Benson, Maggie Rose, Jesse Welles, and others, and praise from Relix, MOJO, MusicRow, Whiskey Riff, and AmericanaUK.

Now they are back on the holidays. In 2025 they released OCMS XMAS, their first full-length Christmas album, with eleven original songs alongside fresh takes on the classics, and took it to The Kelly Clarkson Show and CBS Saturday Morning. The Holiday Hootenanny launched that same year and is back for a second run, mixing songs from the Christmas record with fan favorites and holiday standards. Spirited, unpredictable, and built to be shared.
