Online: Intermediate/Advanced French with Anette Roth

For the people whose French is genuinely good and quietly going rusty. This is a monthly conversation class over Zoom pitched at intermediate to advanced speakers, working through texts, poems, songs and videos rather than grammar exercises, with as much attention to the culture as the language.

Anette Roth teaches it. She is German, holds a degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies from the University of Mainz plus a Masters in Translation and Applied Linguistics across French, English and German, and has taught all three in secondary and higher education.

Before you join. Be ready to turn on both your camera and microphone, which is what makes it a conversation rather than a lecture. Registration is required and the Zoom link comes with your confirmation.
