Online: Poems From CT's Four Corners

Five poets, one Zoom room, and a fairly convincing argument that Connecticut writes better than you expected.

Poems from Connecticut's Four Corners gathers five writers chosen to show the range and diversity of Nutmeg State poetry. Phil C. Alexander is a spoken word artist who weaves personal truth together with social reflection. Sharon Bloom is a retired corporate writer and copresident of the Guilford Poets Guild. Jonah Craggett is the creator and head writer of Haus of Black, and works as a poet, producer, professor and public speaker. Janet Krauss, who hosts, is the author of two books of poetry, a retired professor and a poetry mentor. Nan Maneely wrote Simple Absence, a grand prize finalist at the Next Generation Indie Awards.

Good to know. This one runs online. Register and the Zoom link comes to you. Registration closes at 7:00pm, right as the reading begins.

Check before you go. Ridgefield Library does not publish a price for this program. Confirm the cost and registration details on the venue's event page before you plan around it.
