Open Mic in Shield's Hall

Two songs and a shaking hand still counts. That is rather the point of an open mic.

Shield's Hall at The Meetinghouse hands the room over to whoever signs up, and the venue is explicit that all experience levels are welcome. That makes it as good a night for a first-timer working up the nerve as it is for the people who play out every week. Sign-up opens at 5:00pm and the performances start at 5:30pm, so getting there early is how you make sure of a slot.

Make a night of it. If you are not performing, this is a low-commitment midweek hour of live music in a beautiful old hall, and you can turn up cold.

Where to go. Shield's Hall at The Meetinghouse, 602 Ridgebury Road, Ridgefield.
