Opera Night with the Londons: Bright is the Ring of Words

Opera, in the library, on a December evening.

The Londons bring a program written for this occasion and not performed anywhere before it, built around great works of literature. Mezzo-soprano Nicole London sings it in support of the Lewisboro Library, and she arrives with real weight behind her: recent roles include Senta in scenes from Der Fliegende Hollander and Waltraute in Die Walkure with the American Wagner Festival, and the title role in Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World.

Tickets are $45. This is a ticketed evening rather than a free library program, and the money goes to the library. Booking is handled through the library's own ticketing page.

Good to know. A 5pm start makes it an early evening, which leaves the rest of the night free for dinner.
