Some kids learn moderation the easy way. Pinkalicious is not one of them. She cannot stop eating pink cupcakes no matter what her parents say, and the bill comes due at the doctor's office with a diagnosis of Pinkititis, which turns her pink from head to toe. For a girl who loves pink, that sounds like a dream come true, right up until it goes too far and she has to figure out how to undo it herself.

The show is built from the Kann sisters' beloved picture book, with a book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, music by John Gregor, and lyrics by John Gregor and both Kanns. It is aimed squarely at ages 5 to 9, roughly kindergarten through third grade, and it is short enough and bright enough to hold them.

Come in costume. There is a Pinkalicious costume contest for every child attending. Look for the table in the lobby when you arrive, sign up, and everyone who enters gets a bookmark. The winner gets called up on stage for a special prize before the show starts.
