Pound Ridge Sustainability Committee Book Club and Lecture Series

The Pound Ridge Sustainability Committee runs this book club and lecture series with the library, and November's subject is Wasteland, on the secret world of waste. It is the kind of book that changes what you notice on a Tuesday morning when the truck comes, and a committee of people who deal with this locally is a better room to discuss it in than most.

Read it first if you can. It is a discussion as much as a lecture, though turning up having not finished is a long-standing book club tradition.
