Redding Reads Scripts

Reading a play out loud with other people is a completely different experience from reading it alone.

MTL's script reading group meets monthly to work through plays together, aiming at a collaborative and thoroughly casual room rather than anything resembling an audition. The group explores theatre of every kind, and it is as open to the merely curious as to people who want to build the skill. No theatre experience is needed, only an appetite for storytelling. Liz Correa facilitates: a local parent who had missed reading plays, with a background in New York City, regional and local theatre, a Best Actress nomination at the PEPI in Seville for Escaleno, a master's from Cornell and study at the Stella Adler Conservatory and Michael Howard Studios. It meets on the second Tuesday of the month.

Good to know. Free, and registration is required. New participants are always welcome.
